Altitude sickness affects each person differently. You may get a headache, feel short of breath or tired, or nothing at all.
- Start drinking a lot of water 2 days prior to travel, and continue hydrating throughout your visit.
- Carbs help our bodies absorb oxygen, so go crazy on the Italian.
- Once in Colorado, you can also buy portable oxygen like these or at many gas stations in the Keystone area. *NOTE: You can not bring oxygen canisters on airplanes.
- Come early and acclimate at lower levels like Denver.
- Watch alcohol consumption as it will dehydrate you faster and make your drunker quicker.
- Bring Sunscreen! We are closer to the sun and it is easier to get burnt.
Cocktail attire. It will get chilly as the sun goes down and a light jacket is recommended.
Both! The ceremony and cocktail will be held outside on the deck facing the mountains. Dinner and dancing will be served indoors, and later in the evening bonfires will be outside.
Yes, there is parking at the base near the 6th Alley Bar and Grill and the chairlifts.
Don't worry! It's a slow scenic ride. The chairs have saftey bars and will be slowed down much slower than normal to get on and off. A platform is also added at the top to make getting off easier.
If you still don't want to ride the chair, let us know, we will have a shuttle driving up that can hold 7 people.

There is limited space in the venue and so we are providing sitters back at the hotel. If you wish to bring your child to the venue, let us know, especially small children (1-2 years).
