Getting To Keystone

The two best options for getting to Keystone are by shuttle or car rental.

The drive takes 1.5-2 hours and is an easy shot down I-70. The very slightly longer way will take you to Silverthorne where you'll turn off and backtrack to Keystone. The more beautiful way takes you through Loveland Pass and past Arapahoe Basin, just turn off on 6 at the Loveland Ski Area. Note: Not recommended for those very afraid of heights.

For those renting a car, Turo is a carsharing app similar to AirBnB and a great alternative that has had more options and been more affordable than standard rental car companies there recently.

Shuttles pick you up directly from the airport, take 2-3 hours and most can be scheduled to take you door to door.

Getting Around Keystone

If you are taking a shuttle, it will be more difficult to get around for activities, however if you book an activity through a company or agency it's possible they will provide transport.

An alternative is to plan trips with our transportation service Jake's Mountain Shuttle. They are fantastic, knowledgeable about the local area and activities and can help guide your trip. They are "available at any time for anything" (but not murder etc) via phone call, text or email:

Accommodations

The most convenient area to stay will be in the Keystone Ski Resort. This is where shuttles will pick up and drop off wedding guests, as well as the River Run area which is the central location for bars, restaurants, shopping and activities.

AirBnB, VRBO, etc are great, much cheaper options for booking. If you are single and looking for people to buddy up with, let us know.

Guests who book through our Summit Cove Wedding Site receive a 10% discount on condos ranging from studios to 4 bedroom apartments with private hot tubs. A concierge is available to answer any questions and help choose your stay.

Note: If driving here from Denver you can either go over Loveland Pass or go around through Eisenhower Tunnel. Loveland Pass is very scenic, however, it literally drives over the top of a mountain so if you are not crazy about heights, drive around.
